Hey Joey,

It is John from work program, you probably don't remember me, but I read your Study Secrets and it was pretty funny, and enjoyable. Good job if I had more teachers like that I could be pretty smart, because that real easy to learn that Da Vinci died in 1519. Just so you know I tend to think that way to when I try to study something, but my biggest problem is lack of intrest. Either because the teacher I have is boring or it just doesn't appeal to me. Anyways keep up the good work and I hope all goes well for you.

I have no plans for my birthday. I am more concern about my summer & beyond. WISH-LIST: 1. Ipod, where I would listen to the Bible even while I sleep. 2. Big suitcases because mine are broken. 3. art supplies. HOWEVER/ PROBLEM: Why am I writing this? I do not want people to think that I am poor and always needing other people. Why am I saying that? Because I say that I want to help other people. I say that I care for other people. Yet I only write about my problems, my needs or wants. I even started a Xanga and Facebook group [or blog-ring] called 'I hate people' and that is sad. Yes, I have those feelings of hate and such but I cannot live by it, right? This is horrible. WISH-LIST? I mentioned a few things, above, because I know a few people who asked me about it. Yet, I don't know yet I will add more to the list despite my conviction to not post this: 4. complex cool big camping backpack that is way too expensive for anyone to buy 5. laptop 6. stamps [yeah, I have some already] 7. not clothes really 8. super complex special wallet devices super duper winter coat 9. thin glothes 10. winter gloves 11. special beanie hat that wraps around your head 12. jacket like not coat but with zipper and hood 13. medium size like coat jacket something for normal cold of 40 degrees instead of north pole weather 14. why am I writing this. not to be insulting, but there are a ton of people that have made a lasting impact on us. do you think Lincoln made anyone happy? "he freed" the slaves so they didn't have to run through rivers and hang under carts in fear of getting caught and either killed or brought back to the plantations. he did it by letting his morals guide him, and he tried to make the world just a little bit easier place to live.
i understand that the previous idea relies upon the knowledge that humans also made the suffering. but that just shows you that we really don't need jewels or knives or even the wheel to be happy. all we need is each other.

Edison made the light bulb and because of that our culture has split in many different ways letting people live how they want to, and indirectly evolving our culture; making it an easier place to live letting people who previously had almost no way to speak to their spouses or friends during winter nights a way to hold other people. if you look upon their faces you can see that they are happy :)

there are many others but i beleive that it would be more helpful to tell you a way that you may be able to make others happy.
a short term: if you see someone who is sad is to lower yourself down to their level and ask them "are you okay?" make sure that you are within arm reach in case they need to hold onto someone (it gives them a bit of security).
a long term: work to destroy the ideology held by most Americans that values objects more than people. the way to do this is to hold close ties with your friends, and never lie to an acquaintance.

I like hurt my finger like a month ago and now it seems like it might be broken. I can still move it like normal except that I cannot fully extend it. I was thinking that I only had a sore but it must be more. like there is a bump on the un-palm side of my pinky, & so my middle joint is what can't be totally straiten. I plan on seeing the nurse soon.

But I can't buy anything: therefore, I am praying for...I don't know... this is sad but not the end of life... yet I never realized how much I love my finger.

1/23/07: It is not broken, just ahh. Like it was swelled up in between the joints, & the dead tissues, blood or such that was around there was stuck in between the joints with no where to go. The injury started when a ball and/ or guy ran into my finger; where the finger was like bent back or bent forcefully which would like cause the body to try to stop the bending but lost. So, I am taking some Ivy-propin, or however you spell that. That kind of stuff is stuff I would never take but it is said to like remove the dead stuff in between my middle joint of my pinky.

FINGER: A while back I injured one of my fingers, & now I cannot fully extend it. I was playing intramaural basketball, about a month ago, when the basketball and/ or guys ran into me. I have not seen the doctor because I am afraid they will make me buy something but I can't do that. I do promise to see them soon if this cannot be healed naturally over time. I can bend and move my pinky finger, on my right hand, but I just can't fully extend it.

Other than this, I have some fun in life. I have been doing a lot of thinking in life, & I just don't know what to say to people when they ask me how I am. Like, how am I? I do not know how I am; how about you ask God how I am. How am I suppose to know how I am. How about you ask me who I am. I think I know who I am but sometimes I forget this too. The other day, while line serving people at my school I asked people "who am I?" and then I asked "Who am I to you?" The normal answer to that question is that I am Joey Arnold. Oh yeah, no duh. Others, however, would say, that I am their friends. That melts my heart, & I am so forever thankful for those kind of answers. Yet, on the other hands, talking about "how am I" or maybe "who I or you?" all sound insigmificant/ unimportant to eternity/ after death. What I am trying to say is that sometimes I love small-talk but other times I despise it. Think about this: you come up to someone and ask "how are you," and they say "good, how are you," and you reply with "good." Now, think, "what in the oatmeal did I just did? Did I accomplish anything? What does 'good' mean? Am I lying about how I am, or are they not interested?" Sometimes I want to tell people that I am doing horrible but other times I just want to say that I am good because that is what every body says. I can say that I am good and look normal and then they will not question me. Yet, people often discard what I have to say many times; in other words, I can say something deep, true, or complex but people can easily assume that my words don't mean anything much or at all. Henceforth, That is what bothers me most, that I will want to tell people some important things but they will not take me serious.

COMPUTER languages communication: I want to get a bachelor of arts in some kind of computer major. I want to learn HTML, Java script, and any like technologies, codes, or whatever: in other words, I want to know the foundations to computer communications. Two potential schools are Moody and Pensacola.

2007-2008 COLLEGE EDUCATION OPTIONS: The following includes the options for my next school year; but I want to find a cheaper college to attend, and get a Bachelor of Arts before it is too late [in other words, just to be safe]:

1. Continue attending ABC: Appalachian Bible College; in Bradley, West Virginia. PROS [good things]: because it is almost affordable: about $14k [$14,000; for normal costs: room/board and tuition]; I love the people, teachers, classes, excitement, flexibility, beauty, and what else can I ask for [a wife? Ok, stop thinking about that... focus]? CONS [bad things]: More expensive than other schools; I already took out a loan but I do not want to continue to take out loans. I want to see more people, places of this world, and experience more things. Above all else, I just am a poor boy who just so happen to have been born and raised in the ghetto Oregon hoods.

2. Transfer to PCC: Pensacola Christian College; in Pensacola, Florida. PROS: Affordable: $5,998/yr. Graphic Design major. Nice place to live. I am sure there is something good about this college that sure seems clean and strict. CONS: not the best Bible school, and they are said to be strict [like, no going to the beach because of naked people].

3. Transfer somewhere? to some community college/ university or something; somewhere where you can live on campus, or live with a friend near by. CONS: I do not know what kind of college this would be? How could I trust just any ordinary college? Yet, I am willing to seek after this because I want to get a

bachelor of arts in like graphic designing or web designing.

That is what I need to seek after, for the next several years [just the basics]. I have looked through many colleges but I am not capable of affording the application fees that I need to send some of them.

4. Transfer to Moody Bible Institute, in Chicago, Illinois. PROS: under $10k; great academically, and it is said to have quality/ pure students who are seeking to make a difference in this world. CONS: They have not replied by to me, to let me know if I have been accepted, yet. They do not accept FAFSA or other like governmental money/ financial aid help. This school is said to be hard to get into.

5. Cry. I must do something. Live with Chris Zuagg in Philadelphia, brother Ricky in Tulsa, Oklahoma, or someone who is caring enough to become like my father? I want to stay in school and get like several doctorates in like Theology, movie making, art, writing, or various skills like those. Where will I be next year? Only JC-W [God] knows. Hey, I had no idea that I would be where I am today, back in the day. Life is everything, but mainly full of grace.

BROKEN: HAVE NO MONEY TO APPLY FOR PCC [COLLEGE IN FLORIDA]:

Why should I tell you about Da Vinci Code, Lord Of The Rings, or other movies I have seen recently, when I can tell you that I am trying to apply for Pensacola Christian College in Florida but need $40 for the student application. Am I asking you to help me? No. I mean yes. I mean why do I just type about this on Xanga or wherever? Why do I need to ask for money. I do not want to ask for money. Who am I? Do I have integrity? Do people know who I am? It is tough being a Joey, or a Bill, or a mother or a rat. I don't know. I do not know what I should use my Xanga for: should it be a hard core diary or everything combined, and what do I write on my MySpace or FaceBook, etc?

HOMELESS FOR SUMMER:

My friend does not have enough frequent flyer miles to get me home this summer; I have not been home in 13 months. I will, as of right now, be homeless for the summer of 2007. It is sad that I only write on Xanga to write about the uncertainty of future. I have written in the past about how I would be homeless or turn into a nun [just kidding] or would not be capable of paying for school or mission trips; yet somehow there is this mystical grace that saves the day; but that grace works through hands of people like you or me and maybe you will be used too to help others. I may not know how I will survive the summer, or how I could get to Florida or anywhere at any time but I know that I have things to do now, and I must be faithful with the things before me... FAITHFUL instead of forcing out my hope for what I think I may need or whatever............

Bottom-line, is that I want to know what I need to know so that I can tell whom I need to tell what they need to know.

PROBLEM: is that if I tell them what they need to know with words & ideas that they don't know then I am actually telling them nothing. For example, I will tell you a simple story with words you don't understand. STORY: Eternal JC atoned mankind's total-depravity, Ro.5:8, JC sacrifice gave homosaphiens Hope Over Dope; & progressive sanctification can only occur after initial reception acception of the eternal redemption gift from Jehovah.

Bottom-line, If you trust that Christ took away your sins, then you don't have to pay for the cost of having sins [which is Hell]; instead you get the eternal Hope [Joy that never goes away] of everlasting life.

Trust that He paid for what you could never pay for, so that you could get what you were going to never get. That last sentence is a summary of what the story tried to communicate, originally.

CULTURAL-ACCEPTABLE: As a writer, I want to learn how to better communicate. Why? Because I want to reach people. I want to get the right things to the right people at the right time. I want to be this middle man that can be this influencer like none other. Do I sound proud & crazy? I've jokingly told friends that I have desire to be god, to be king of the world, or even run for president of the united state of America. Yes, I am a proud man, so pray that JC humbles me.

I plan to be a writer, but I have decided that I need to understand the principles behind being a pastor, first. i've loved animals probably before i was born. i'm fond of them because God created them, and they don't judge u based on superficial things nor by your status in society, nor do they don't make fun of others. And they tend to show more loyalty and compassion than people do.
